A whirlwind romance led me to cancel my plans of Peace Corps service in Turkmenistan. Now permanently settled in Europe with my soon-to-be husband, I chronicle here my immigrant experience.
"Innocence Abroad" was the title of a column I wrote for The Emory Wheel back when I studied abroad in college. It o-so-cleverly punned on Mark Twain's "Innocents Abroad," a novel about Americans making fools of themselves in Europe.
If I'm still an innocent (abroad) is a question best left to my biographer.
